Tariq Saiduddin, Stroede

My name is Tariq Saiduddin and I am a Gothenburg born Swede of Indian decent. I am 35 years old this January and a proud family father of two children. I have always been interested in the interface between technology and human behavior. I started my carrier in the CRM and Business software field in 1995, when I started working with the Hogia Group in Stenungsund.

My first task at Hogia was managing Hogia, s CRM project directly under the founder and owner Bert-Inge Hogsved. Mr. Hogsved wanted to know how many singular customers the 30 company strong Hogia group had any kind of relation with in the Scandinavian arena.

The Software which our team created and implemented integrated customer databases from over ten different vendors and supported Presales, Sales, After sales, Delivery, Customer support, Product development, Project management, Business Intelligence and Integration with Back office functions(ERP and MS Office) for the whole group. I later went on to start a new Hogia company within the group solely dedicated to CRM.

I have also worked as the Product Manager e-services at Schenker Sweden. This job gave me valuable insight into the mechanics that drive a large marketing department in a multinational firm. I was in charge of the online services that Schenker supplied its Nordic customers.

I have been working at Stroede Customer Development since the fall of 2000 and my work has comprised of working hands-on with CRM projects. As the Product Manager I am responsible for our product and services portfolio. A part of this work comprises in interacting with our customers, talking about trends and new ideas in the CRM area. Thus CRM evangelist is sometimes a role I take when working with strategic issues concerning our customers.
