Training Day Agenda - November 18th

The mission of this day is to give you the best of the best in terms of important knowledge on key areas of Internet Marketing. Your guide & teacher has lived & breathed Internet Marketing since 1998 and has had thousands of people attending his events from all over the world, Lennart Svanberg, the founder & producer of IMC-Executive (& regular IMC).

The lessons & insights are not "time-stamped" in the sense that what you learn today will be obsolete tomorrow. However, there's always new methods of marketing emerging so its a combination of learning the basics as well as learning what is "hottest" right now.

Lennart is considered to be entertaining, yet very pedagogic in his classes, so look forward to a day of both learning & smiles.

Most sessions will consist of an introductory presentation followed by a task to discuss amongst the participants. Networking & sharing experiences are a vital part of the Training Day.

Our introduction gives you the broad trends of Internet Marketing that is affecting everyone. From Twitter to Search Engines, from Iphones to people who still are not online. The introduction sets the framework for you who wants to understand the Internets impact on your business.

After the introduction a game will be played with you as a player; how much are you willing to invest & how much are you willing to loose before you can take your business to the next step?

10:45 Low hanging fruits versus big challenges to succeed

In almost every business situation, there are "low hanging fruits" to succeed. Low hanging fruits are issues that might take your organization 5 minutes to fix which will have immediate impact on your bottom line revenues.

Lennart Svanberg will give examples of "low hanging fruits" and teach you a few things to ask the people in your organization in order to make sure they are on top of Internet Marketing. Internet marketing is still a very young field which makes it possible for many to get away with little knowledge, its time for you to be on top of this topic.

If you can't find any more low hanging fruits, its time to focus on bigger challenges - or is it? The problem and the great thing about Internet Marketing is that the evolution goes quicker than we think - so is it necessary to do big investments - or will they come for free by tomorrow?

This session will both have a presentation to start with and a challenge for you to work with in order for you to understand if you're in a low-hanging-fruit situation or if there's big challenges ahead.

13:15 Networking Online - What's the difference from Offline Networking?

Of course you're part of associations, of course you attend trade shows, of course you've got a network of people who you consult and learn from before you make important decisions.

After lunch we will listen to each other to understand how you network? What is your way of learning new things about your Business/Industry? How do you get new clients, products etc - in short - how do you network?

There's huge discussions on the benefits or pitfalls of networking online during business hours. Now is the time for you to make a decision for yourself & for those that you work with - how shall you network online?

We will go through different popular online networks and messaging systems to discuss them one by one. At the end of this session you will have a much better understanding if online networking is good for your business or not.
