The Future of User Generated Media

User generated media and the technology behind this phenomenon is changing the way brands communicate with their consumers and the way consumers talk back to and spread their vision of what a brand represents.

As rich media technology continues to advance and broadband connection speeds increase the target customer now has access to all forms of media (e.g., video, animation, etc.) in the online world. Subsequently, advertisers can pick and choose from a list of medium that extends far beyond traditional communications channels.

During this interactive session Adi Sideman, CEO of Oddcast will take a look at the ever-changing media landscape and how new technologies are challenging and complementing traditional advertising mediums. He will use key project examples including Career Builder's Monk-e-Mail, ESPN Voice of the Fan and others to demonstrate and educate audience members on how major brands are leveraging this new form of media.

Benefits:
Through the use of case studies and dissemination of key insights the audience will gain a better understanding of:
- the value of consumer self-expression and how the new user generated medium is changing the communications landscape
- how advanced rich media technologies complement as well as disrupt traditional media
- the business and technical pros and cons on the use of video vs. animated talking characters
- how to approach the creative process and integrate ideas that will help to accomplish key objectives
