Creating Your Mobile Site from Strategy to Usability

For the past twelve years, Tara has been promoting the importance of the online customer experience. Tara holds a MASc. in Human Factors and is an active member of CHI (Computer Human Interaction) and UPA (Usability Professional’s Association).

Recently, she has been responsible in devloping the Mobile Portal for CNN International - the World Wide News Channel.

She has been featured in several magazines and newspapers, and has spoken at venues such as the International Internet Marketing Conference, COMDEX, and at various National Website Summits for the US Government. Early in 2005 Tara was appointed to the Canadian Marketing Association E-Marketing Executive Council.

After seven years as the National Director of the Usability Group at Fjord/Cossette Communications and being the Principal Consultant of the User Experience Practice at BlueSpark she has now accepted a leading role in the Usability Practice Team at Momentum. She is leading one of the largest Usability consulting practices in North America.

Tara utilizes the latest usability and strategic methodologies in order to increase a companys profitability, productivity and brand perception through enhancing the interactive customer experience. Making things easier - one click at a time!

Tara previously held the position of Part-time Adjunct Professor at Cardean University (www.Cardean.com) teaching a Graduate-level course in usability entitled ‘Communicating With Your Customer’ (developed by Donald Norman and Jakob Nielsen).
