I share the lessons we learned via our user focus groups, onsite usability labs, and stakeholder interviews. Also, I can explain how we transitioned our website from a cost center position to that of a profit center.

As Vice President of Internet for the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), Cynthia Elsener is responsible for the strategic direction of the CBOE’s Internet programs. She has direct responsibility for all aspects of the award-winning CBOE.com and CBOE.org websites.

Since joining the CBOE in 1999, Cynthia has successfully positioned CBOE.com as the premier resource for options information online, recognized as such by Forbes, Barron’s and the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII).

Prior to joining the CBOE, Ms. Elsener led Internet Brokerage business units at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. in San Francisco and Amvescap, PLC in Houston.
