IMC Update #5 2007 - Last call for content
- Last call for Content to IMC Stockholm 2007
- Can you get paid for content online?
Greetings,
our agenda for IMC Stockholm 2007 is nearly finished. I'm working together with Lars Johansson from Webanalysts.info to produce this years conference and it's going to be a "stellar" event.
The theme for this years IMC Stockholm is "Content". A record number of 75 speaker proposal have come so far but we can still accept nominations: send them to info@internetmarketingconference.com

==> CAN YOU GET PAID FOR ONLINE CONTENT
One of the questions that surrounds online content is: Can you get paid for content online?
According to New York Times it's a "No". Yesterday they announced that they see bigger revenues in having everything open and making money on the advertising.
In Sweden, one newspaper called Aftonbladet, has managed to convert a lot of subscribers into paying one's. In the United Kingdom, e-consultancy.com, has proved that its paying service is very popular.
Paying for Online content is definitely here to stay but it has to be done in ways that motivates the buyer enough.
I think it's fun that just because a large newspaper fails (New York Times), analysts goes into a choir saying that it counts for all media, even though the facts are there - Yes, you can get paid for online content.
