Peter Steele is a co-founder and partner of Connectus, formerly DLL Communications Inc., overseeing the Company’s business development, operations, and pursuit of key strategic, technology, and financial partners.

When leading Canadian advertising agencies wanted to capture their share of the potential $2 billion dollar direct email marketing business, they called Connectus. Peter’s expertise in the publishing and advertising industry has enabled Connectus’ success in forming strategic partnerships with these leading agencies in order to bring the power of email technology to their Global 2000 clients.

Working closely with venture capitalists, Peter has been an integral part in raising capital for Connectus’ continual growth and success within the email-marketing arena.

Peter Steele brings 17 years of managing and building high growth businesses to Connectus. Prior to co-founding Connectus, he co-founded and was CEO of a boutique tax consulting practice specializing in SR&ED claims for technology companies. In 1984, he founded and was CEO of a publishing company in Japan with offices in Tokyo, London, England and Vancouver, Canada. He is a past International Board Member of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization (“YEO”), as well as the past President of the Vancouver Chapter of the YEO.

In 1999, Peter co-founded The Daddy-longlegs Group, a venture corporation with holdings in Internet, real estate syndication and travel industries. He placed his focus clearly on permission marketing and dedicated his time to
finding the best of breed email marketing solutions to help companies provide the best tools to acquire, engage and retain their customers.
